After renting from National for the past few years, i had the worst experience in Jacksonville, FL airport. I returned home to find a repair bill for two rental cars from them.
The car (not plural) i returned was fine. However, i called the claims number only to find out that they were ssying that the car had a busted wind shield, and three completely broken windows. C'mon, dont you think the agent who checked the car back in would have noticed this??!! Tje sgent on the phone asked, "well didnt you take pictures?" Of what, i asked, "a car that was without any damage (when i returned it)?" It gets worse, i called the regional manager.
I asked for them to send pictures to suppirt their claim...of course not...He didnt listen, didnt lay eyes on the car, etc. I was then put on their crazy do not rent list!! I turned it over to a lawyer and they dropped their fraudulent case. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER will rent from these crooks.
I have no idea if im even still on their DNR list. Their competitors are more than happy to rent to me.
