National Car Rental - Customer serve is worthless

Worst customer service on the planet!!! My flight is delayed by 4 hours. I am meeting my family for vacation. The rental is in my name with my emerald number and now my family is stranded at the aiport. National refuses to give them the car, unless the put it in my husbands name and jack up the rate!!! NEVER again!!!!!
